Rain Studio LLC (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the HangOn mobile application (the “App”).This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the App.

Information We Collect

We collect limited, non-personal information to help improve app performance, usability, and stability.

  • App interaction data (such as feature usage and gestures)

  • Device information (device model, device capabilities and OS version)

  • App diagnostics and crash reports

  • Anonymous identifiers generated by the App

  • Feedback you choose to submit (see User-Submitted Feedback below)

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment information.

User-Submitted Feedback

The App may occasionally ask how it is working for you. Responding is entirely optional and is never required to use the App.Whether your answer is positive or negative, you can select one or more options from a short list, and you may optionally write a message in your own words. When you submit, we store:- whether your response was positive or negative
- the option or options you selected, if any
- the message you wrote, if you wrote one
- the date and time of the submission
- the App versionNothing else is attached. Submissions carry no name, no account, no device or advertising identifier, and no device model or operating system version, and they are not linked to your analytics activity in the App. As a result, a submission cannot be traced back to you or connected to your other use of the App.The message field is optional and free-form. Please do not include personal details in it — anything you type is stored as you wrote it.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to support app functionality and improvement:

  • Firebase Analytics – used to collect anonymous usage statistics and understand how features are used

  • Firebase Realtime Database – used to store the optional feedback you submit from within the App, as described above

  • Firebase Crashlytics – used to collect crash reports and performance diagnostics

  • Firebase Remote Config – used to adjust settings and feature behavior without requiring an App update. It collects basic device context, such as country, language, time zone, and OS version, to determine which settings apply

These services may collect anonymous usage data and device information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not receive personally identifiable information from these services.

How We Use Information

  • Improve app functionality and user experience

  • Monitor app performance and stability

  • Diagnose and fix bugs

  • Understand and act on user feedback

We do not use collected data for advertising purposes, and we do not use it to
track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.Data is shared only with the third-party service providers listed above and solely for analytics, diagnostics, and app improvement purposes.

Data Retention

Analytics and diagnostic data are retained according to the retention settings of the services listed above.Feedback submissions are deleted within 24 months of the date they are submitted. We may delete them sooner. We do not retain them beyond that period.

Your Rights and Choices

You may choose not to respond to the feedback prompt, and you may dismiss it without answering.Analytics and diagnostic data are collected at the level of individual events rather than in aggregate, but are not linked to your identity and are not used to identify individual users.Because feedback submissions contain no name, account, or device identifier, we have no way to locate an individual submission or connect it to a particular person. This means we are unable to retrieve, correct, or delete a specific submission on request. If you would prefer that a message not be retained, please do not include it when you submit feedback.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated accordingly.
